First 7 in the bag

k guys.. this mite sound funny but i already have a high distinction even before the exams started, but ironically im not happy about it. I honestly did not put in as much effort into this project as i have in my last project and yet i scored a high distinction for it, i got it because my team mates were efficient and they just dragged me along. today when i was thinking about it, i felt so uneasy, so pissed at myself for letting myself get dragged. i honestly felt i didnt deserve the mark i got and i kept apologizing to my team mates but they did not make a fuss out of it, neither did they scold me or mark me down. Ben just said his usual 'oh, its alright'. It was at that point, i told myself 'no more am i going to let my team mates down, never will i be a liability to anyone'
I thank God for giving me these gracious team mates heh, it just shows who prays the hardest lolz.. just kidding

Get to know yourself

hmm did a survey linked from my friends website.. haha and its actually quite accurate.. well for me i guess.. except the part where i go out on dates alot..(haiz if only) results as shown

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on educationEducation is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.
The right job for you:You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Mummy's day special

Happy mothers day mom~!

today while in church service, i heard a story bout a little boy that came to his mum with a list of things he did, for everything on the list he did.. he asked his mum for monetary rewards. his mum then took the list from him and wrote at the back of it.. all the things she did for him and wrote free of charge for everything then she said to her son 'u see.. the love i gave to u.. is free of charge' after saying that the son went to his mum and gave her a big hug saying into her ear.. could i still get 5 dollars from u anyway?

heh the last part was a little comic relief but the gist of the story was to show how much mums endure to give us a better life yet not complaining about it (or not openly complaining about it) like in proverbs 31:10-31.. i call the woman in that passage.. the domestic general.. and in my life i have one as well.. my own mum is a domestic general.

She mite not be everything tat is stated in that passage but shes the closest thing i know that its that description and i honestly thank god i have a mum like that. i made a list after hearing that story on what i wanted to thank my mum for so far and i came up with :

For carrying me around for 9 mths
For changing my nappy when i couldnt
For enduring my cries at 3am
For feeding/playing with me nontheless
For loving me with all your heart
For teaching me
For disciplining me when i did wrong
For cooking for me
For doing my laundry
For listening to my problems
For giving me hugs when i need them the most
For nagging at me
For forgiving me when i did u wrong
For providing me with a better life
For enduring all the hardship
For being a friend, a parent and a mentor all in one
For praying for me all the time
For making me into the man i am today
and lastly,
For being my Mum

Ure the best mum any Sean could ever possibly have and i wouldnt trade u for anything in the world. Thank u God for mum... and Thank u mum.. for being u
